This past Sunday was our last night of service in Hatchet. It was not an easy decision but, as we close in on the completion of our 10th year, it felt like the right one. There are so many emotions and thoughts wrapped up in this moment but the overwhelming one is gratitude. It has been an honor to be in service to this community and to have the privilege of working with so many exceptional people in the exacting of that mission. Our version of hospitality is one that has been nurtured by love and built on undying commitment to craft. I am proud to have had the opportunity to be a small piece of fabric in this community quilt we continue to weave here in RIchmond. I look forward to passing the torch to the next bearer so that they may set this town ablaze with wonderful dining experiences.
